Overview
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world role-playing game set in Night City, adapted from the Cyberpunk tabletop role-playing game by Mike Pondsmith. Developed by CD Projekt Red in Poland, it launched in a difficult state in 2020 and was substantially rebuilt through updates and the Phantom Liberty expansion.
01
The Game
You are V, a mercenary carrying a dangerous piece of technology in your head — and a stranger's personality along with it. The story is intimate despite the scale of the city around it, and much of its best writing lives in side stories.
02
Gameplay
Played in first person, the game mixes shooting, stealth, hacking and dialogue, with character builds that change how each mission can be approached. Driving and simply walking through Night City are part of the pleasure.
03
Multiplayer
Cyberpunk 2077 is a single-player game.
