About the studio
IO Interactive was founded in Copenhagen in 1998. Hitman: Codename 47 (2000) introduced Agent 47, who has remained the studio's signature character.
After becoming independent again in 2017, IO Interactive completed its modern Hitman trilogy and has expanded with studios in several European cities.
