About the studio
Guerrilla traces its roots to the merger of several Dutch studios around 2000. Acquired by Sony in 2005, it made its name with the Killzone series of first-person shooters on PlayStation.
With Horizon Zero Dawn in 2017 the studio moved into open-world action role-playing, a direction continued with Horizon Forbidden West. Guerrilla is based in central Amsterdam.
