About the studio
Sandfall Interactive is an independent studio based in Montpellier, in the south of France. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, released in 2025, was its debut game.
The game's combination of turn-based combat, real-time defence and a painterly Belle Époque world made it one of the most discussed role-playing games of its year.
