Introduction
Iceland's best-known contribution to games is EVE Online, created by CCP Games in Reykjavík and running continuously since 2003. Its single shared universe remains one of the most ambitious experiments in online play.
For a country of its size, Iceland has an unusually visible games presence, and CCP's annual player gatherings in Reykjavík became events in their own right.
